Many Nigerian Artists Falsify Their Age for Record Deals — Odumodublvck Claims

Odumodublvck has alleged that age falsification is common in the Nigerian music industry.

Speaking during a recent livestream with streamer Enzo, the rapper claimed that many artists reduce their real age to appeal to record labels and brands that target specific age groups.

According to him, several industry investors are often reluctant to invest in older artists, which pushes some musicians to adjust their ages in order to remain marketable.

Odumodublvck, who revealed that he is 32, stated that he is not pressured by age and remains focused on his career.

He said many artists feel the need to present themselves as younger to secure deals, partnerships, and opportunities within the industry.
