Uzor Arukwe Reveals Surprising Family Secret Regarding His Acting Career

Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has opened up about his family’s reaction to his acting career, revealing that his father is either unaware or unwilling to स्वीकार that he is now fully established in the industry.

Speaking during an interview on #WithChude hosted by Chude Jideonwo, the actor shared that despite his growing success in Nollywood, his father has chosen not to acknowledge his career path.

“My father doesn’t know that I’m an actor; he has heard, but he doesn’t want to believe,” he said.

Arukwe also explained that his mother initially struggled to accept his decision to pursue acting, largely due to his father’s stance. However, she eventually came around and supported his journey.

“My mum was slow to adapt because of her husband, but she later came around,” he added.

Now regarded as one of Nollywood’s notable actors, Uzor Arukwe has built a solid reputation through his performances in several popular films and productions, even as he continues to navigate personal challenges surrounding acceptance at home.
