Nollywood’s Adeniyi Johnson Denies Links to Fake UK Social Media Page

Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson has raised an alarm over an impersonation scheme involving his identity, urging fans and the public to remain vigilant.

In a post shared on Instagram, the actor disclosed that an individual reportedly based in the United Kingdom has been posing as him online. To back up his claim, he shared a screenshot of a conversation with the impersonator, showing how the scam is being carried out.

“Scam alert. I do not know this person and or represent whatever he or she stands for. Never used this number and for now I have no manager or personal assistant,” he wrote.

Johnson emphasized that he has no connection whatsoever with the individual and has not authorized anyone to act on his behalf. He also clarified that the phone number being used does not belong to him and reiterated that he currently operates without a manager or personal assistant.

He warned fans to ignore any messages or business proposals coming from the impersonator and advised them to report such activities.

“Please ignore chats or business proposals from him or her. I do not know him or her. Please, let’s frustrate this number with calls and report it as well!” he added.

The actor stressed that such fraudulent activities could harm his reputation and urged the public to stay cautious and verify information before engaging with anyone claiming to represent him.
