Are you insane’ – Wumi Toriola rebukes Enioluwa for calling her by name [VIDEO]

Nigerian actress Wumi Toriola, a Nigerian actress, has reacted after a viral video showed her confronting influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa, a Nigerian influencer, over how he addressed her at a Lagos event.

The incident happened during a social gathering in Lagos State, where Wumi was seen exchanging pleasantries with colleagues including Ini Edo and Eniola Ajao. In the clip, Enioluwa approached her and greeted her while attempting to hug her.

The greeting appeared to upset the actress, who pushed him back and questioned his choice of words, insisting that he should not have addressed her without a proper honorific.

“Are you insane? Did you just call my name? How dare you call me by my name? You can’t greet me like that, you will have to prostrate to greet me. We are not mates,” she said in the viral video.

Enioluwa quickly responded, clarifying that he meant no disrespect, insisting he said “Aunty Wumi” while greeting her.

Following the backlash and mixed reactions online, Wumi Toriola addressed the controversy via her Instagram story, defending herself and also responding to discussions about her age.

She wrote that people were debating her age online and added that she finished secondary school in 2003, urging critics to “do the math.”

Reports also note that Enioluwa was born in 1999, while Wumi Toriola was born in 1988.
