Why I get nervous about stage performance – Olamide
Nigerian rapper Olamide has opened up about his struggles with stage anxiety, revealing that he often feels nervous before performing live.
In a recent interview with YouTuber Korty EO, the YBNL boss explained that his nervousness stems from past negative experiences during stage performances, which left lasting impressions on him.
He recalled situations where fans invaded the stage unexpectedly, with some attempting to grab his chain or hat while he was performing.
According to him, these incidents were frightening and have contributed to his ongoing caution and anxiety whenever he is about to go on stage.
“I get nervous every time I am going on the stage. I have had too many crazy experiences while performing. Someone from nowhere will just come and grab your chain or your hat, you don’t even know what to expect,” he said.
Despite his superstar status and years of experience in the music industry, Olamide’s revelation highlights the pressures and safety concerns artists sometimes face during live performances.
