The technical department of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, is likely to see big changes as the contract of director Augustine Eguavoen is about to end.

Eguavoen’s contract, along with the other members of the technical committee, will finish in September.

The former defender has been in charge of the NFF technical department for the past five years after former Super Eagles assistant coach, Ben Duamlong, left.

Eguavoen has also been in charge of the Super Eagles twice as temporary manager during this time.

According to Score Nigeria, he and his team have not had much backing from top NFF officials.

There’s likely to be a lot of behind-the-scenes pushing for these jobs.
