Superstar singer and entrepreneur Akon has sparked debate after sharing his views on relationships, claiming that life felt easier when he was involved with multiple women.
Speaking in an interview with The Shade Room, the artist reflected on his past experiences, noting that he found that phase of his life less stressful compared to being in a monogamous relationship.
“My life was very much easier when I had multiple women surrounding me, but me being with just one woman is a lot harder,” he said.
Akon suggested that having multiple partners reduced pressure and added variety, which he believes made things simpler for him at the time.
However, when asked about his current relationship status and how many women he is currently dating, he chose to avoid giving a direct answer.
“I plead the fifth; it will be incriminating to answer,” he said humorously.
