Inter Milan agree personal terms with Sassuolo defender Muharemovic
Inter Milan have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Sassuolo defender Tarik Muharemovic, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report claims that Inter are now closing in on the transfer, having already agreed personal terms with the player over a five-year contract.
However, negotiations with Sassuolo are still ongoing, with the Serie A club expected to demand at least €30 million for their key defender.
Once a club-to-club agreement is reached, the deal will also benefit Juventus, who inserted a significant 50% resale clause when they previously held rights to the player.
Meanwhile, Juventus are said to retain an interest in Muharemovic, although the defender is reportedly not keen on a return to Turin at this stage of his career.
